My new Front guide out June 10
My revised and updated Front guidebook will be out June 10.
There will be a book signing at the Front brewery on that date from 5-7 p.m.

I bought the book for my little nephew who is visiting from Illinois this summer. We'll probably just go to Our Lake, but thought it would be a good way to get him excited--and it is!
I have one question. On the Headquarters Pass hike you talk about using the trail to approach a climb of Rocky Mountain, possibly by the Western Ridge. Have you ever climbed the Western Ridge? Is there significant exposure? I have often wanted to try it, but have always 'chickened out' and climbed the scree field (ugh!).

Will the book be available in stores in Helena?
To Gee Guy: Yes, I've done the Western Ridge four different times, and there is significant exposure....about Class 3-4 in spots....but doable.
To Rod: Yes. The book is co-published by Riverbend Press in Helena, which has copies. I think Base Camp will also have.
