Mount Helena dayhike

Katie on top Mount Helena enjoying the view
Mount Helena is always a great day hike.
My wife and I Saturday went to Helena and went to the top to enjoy the view.
Many flowers are out, and everything is bright green because of the copious rain.
The Elkhorn Mountains to the south are still snow covered.
Forget Me Not were out
The Big Belts and most of the Continental Divide are clear, although I could see both Red Mountains (near Rimini and near Lincoln) and they had significant snow.
On top Mount Helena a quick moving spring thunderstorm rolled through, so we got off quickly.
Not before we had a look around and had some lunch.
